On the 27th June 2025, the event “Embedding social action for linguistic and cultural diversity in teacher education” will take place as part of the dissemination activities of the Erasmus+ Project BOLD (https://boldproject.eu/).
CONTEXT
This event aims to promote reflection and discussion around the promotion of social action for linguistic and cultural diversity in education and teacher training, bringing together different actors (NGOs, leaders of migrant organizations, civil society organisations, teacher educators, students, and student teachers, teachers in different school contexts, student unions, academics, researchers, policymakers, HEIs governing bodies).
It will address purposes, contents, strategies and resources to foster social action and civic engagement in (teacher) education programs as to prepare (future) teachers to design and participate in actions addressing community and global needs in the areas of linguistic and cultural diversity, multilingualism and interculturalism in collaboration with diverse (educational) institutions. Participation in the event is free but registration is mandatory at this link until the end of May.
